This 4x12" (10.16x30.48) mixed media on stretched canvas is a glowy piece of nostalgia for those who've ever spent hours calming themselves by watching a lava lamp flow. 
I started with the acrylic lamp itself and added gold leaf to the base and finial of this groovy piece of objet d'art.
